Mystery boxes – terms and conditions

Purchasing the mystery boxes:

  • What’s inside the boxes? That’s all part of the mystery. Each box contains our best-selling products from the last year. 
  • Products within the mystery boxes cannot be swapped out for another product. Products cannot be requested to be included.
  • Your mystery box will be fulfilled in our courier box as normal - it's all about the product! If you order additional product(s), the product(s) will be included in the same box.
  • No holds will be permitted for our mystery boxes.
  • Mystery boxes are subject to availability.

Mystery boxes refund policy:

All mystery boxes are final sale. You may receive products that you have tried, or already own, we will not exchange or refund you for that product(s). Why not re-gift the products to someone special?

Faulty Equipment

If you're experiencing an issue with your equipment, we're here to help.

Please contact us at sales@spraytansolutions.co.nz within 30 days of receiving your order. Be sure to include your order number and a brief description of the problem.

⚠️ Important: Please do not return any items before speaking with our team.
Many common issues can be quickly resolved with some simple troubleshooting — no return needed!

What to Expect

  • Once we understand the issue, we’ll guide you through the next steps.

  • If the fault can’t be resolved remotely, we’ll send you a Returns Form to begin a warranty claim.

  • Some items may need to be assessed by the manufacturer.

  • If you purchased your equipment through one of our distributors, it must be returned to them for repair.

Please Note

  • Shipping, return, and maintenance costs are not covered under warranty.

  • If returning an item, we recommend using a trackable courier, especially for higher-value equipment.

  • Once your return is received and assessed, we’ll confirm whether it qualifies for repair, replacement, or refund.

  • Approved refunds will be made to the original payment method, minus any processing fees.
    For refund requests made after 60 days, a store credit will be issued instead.

If the issue is not covered under warranty, we’ll provide a quote before proceeding with any repairs. No work will be done without your approval.

Spray Tanning Solution/Change of Mind Returns

At Spray Tan Solutions NZ, we do not offer refunds for change of mind purchases, so we kindly ask that you choose carefully when placing your order.

If you no longer want an item, you may be eligible for a store credit, less any applicable processing fees, provided the product is:

  • Unused

  • In original, sellable condition

  • In its original packaging, undamaged

Need to Change an Order?

If you need to make changes to your order before it has been dispatched, please email us as soon as possible at sales@spraytansolutions.co.nz. We’ll do our best to help before it leaves our warehouse.

Before Returning Anything:

⚠️ Do not send items back without speaking to one of our team members first.
This helps us make the process faster and smoother for you.

If your product is faulty, we will provide a remedy as required by the Consumer Guarantees Act.

Sending Items Back

If your return is approved:

  • Ensure the item is in its original condition and packaging

  • Products must be unused and unopened

  • We recommend using a trackable courier for any items of value

Once received and inspected, we’ll issue your store credit, less any applicable processing fees.

 

Sale and discounted items 

Items purchased on sale or discounted are non-exchangeable and non-returnable please chose carefully.

 

Right to Decline Orders

Spray Tan Solutions NZ reserves the right to decline or cancel any order, or part of an order, at our sole discretion.

If your order (or any part of it) is not accepted, it will be treated as cancelled, and any payments made will be fully refunded to the original payment method.

 

What do I do if I had an allergic reaction?

The ingredients of the product are listed to help you identify sensitivities with certain ingredients.

Different skin types and skin conditions may react differently to products and brands. It is always best to know and understand how your skin reacts to different products and ingredients.

Please note: We always recommend carrying out a patch test 24 hours prior to use. If you experience an allergic reaction to your patch test please discontinue use.

If you experience an allergic reaction, please send a detailed description of what occurred along with the pictures to sales@spraytansolutions.co.nz We will communicate this to the brand and help find an appropriate solution.

Please note that issues must be reported within 7 days of receipt of item. In certain instances, a medical certificate may be requested to identify if it is the product that caused the allergic reactions.

  

Incorrect Orders

Whilst every order shipped is checked and double checked from time to time a mistake can sneak through, if you have received an item that you didn't order/an item is missing from your order, please contact HQ at sales@spraytansolutions.co.nz and we will arrange a replacement for your missing item to be shipped out. In your email please include:

  • Your full name
  • Your order number
  • A photo of your package and contents

 

Delivery Time Frames

Please ensure you allow ample time for all orders to be received.

If you place your order before 11am on a weekday we will aim to dispatch the same day. Orders are processed and shipped Mondays to Fridays only, excluding public holidays.

During promotional sale periods please allow for additional delays but we will endeavour to dispatch your order as soon as possible.

Spray Tan Solutions NZ will not be responsible for any loss of income due to missing or delayed orders.

 

Pop Up Tents

All Pop up spray tan tents are individually checked prior to being packed into their boxes. Should the tent be damaged as a result of over bending it will not be covered under warranty.

Bindings in tents are joined at the bottom of each tent by a special clipping. A 30 day grace period applies for any tents that have torn at any seams after this time there is no warranty.
